Aeria Games has some really high quality MMORPGs under their belt, and Kitsu Saga is about to join the rest of their ranks starting next month. The company announced that the very first closed-beta test for the story driven, anime-inspired MMORPG, Kitsu Saga Gold , will commence on October 1st.

As stated in the press release…

Kitsu Saga transforms players into neophyte martial artists, seeking to survive the rigors of training under their faction’s school and become full-fledged warriors to defend their realms from evil. Along the way, they will be joined by the Kitsu Saga Gold, a tribe of helpful foxes descended from a holy nine-tailed spirit.

The game sounds very promising and if it’s anything like PWE’s Red Cliff then we could have a surprise sleeper-hit with Kitsu Saga. For one thing, it’s definitely off to the right start by not being named Tales, Fantasy, or Heroes Online. Seems like every other MMO has Tales, Fantasy or Hero in its title, with only the standout MMOs taking the risk of establishing real names,
